On Saturday I was lucky enough to be at the launch of a brand new book - Yak and Gnu - written by Juliette MacIver and illustrated by Cat Chapman.Juliette and Cat were both there, and signed a copy of their book for our school!
Juliette shared how she came up with the concept for Yak and Gnu while writing Toucan Can, showed us her favourite illustration from the book, and then read the book to an attentive audience. Yak and Gnu is a fun book with lots of rhyming. I'd recommend asking your class teacher to read this one out loud!
