Music in the library!

The library was closed on Monday morning...but for an excellent reason! The good folk from the Jam Bus came in to record our talented children!

In a few weeks, these performers will receive a CD of their music to play to their family and friends!

Can you spot Owairaka kids from previous recording sessions on the Jam Bus website??!

We love our Dads

On Tuesday, Mrs Polkinghorne invited students to draw a picture of their Dad to go into the draw to win some books for him. We ended up with some fabulous pictures on our library wall.

Come and check out the fabulous art, and also look at our books about Dads in the library!

Here is Mrs Williams with our winners, Emacyn and Suhayra!
