This is great news for some of the classrooms and teachers, as they have the opportunity to reuse the old library furniture.

Drawing day in the Library.

As a teacher I really love being in the Library when it's drawing day. Our students show great Manaakitanga, Manawanuitanga and Kaitiakitanga when engaging in this activity.

Manaakitanga = They are kind, caring and practice sharing.

Manawanuitanga = They focus and work hard to complete their drawing/masterpiece.

Kaitiakitanga = They use both sides of their paper, put it flat in the recycle box and they tidy up the drawing equipment before leaving.

There is also another reason why I like being present for drawing day................

I get given some FANTASTIC pictures!!!!!!!!

Come along on drawing day, I would love to see your artistic talents.
