Book Week mahi!

Last week was a fantastic opportunity for our tamariki (children) to share their love of reading. Enjoying ngā pukapuka (books), doing fun activities in our Whare Mātauranga (House of knowledge) or Library and also in their akomanga (room).

On display in our Whare Mātauranga, is some mahi (work) from ngā ākonga (students) in Ruma Rua tekau ma rua (Room 22). Also some ngā pikitia (photos) of what other ruma got up to during the wiki (week).

Come along to our library to have a better look at the miharo (awesome) mahi.

2022 Book week- Which character will you become on Rāmere?

 This Rāmere our kura will look very different. Ngā ākonga (students), kaiako (teachers) and tumuaki (principal) etc will be dressed up as their favourite book character.

Book Week 2022

 This week is Book Week, a chance to celebrate our love of books and reading!

During this week, all of ākonga will have the opportunity to do activities that encourage them to engage more with ngā pukapuka (books) and share their favourite characters with their peers. There are also some awesome displays both in our Whare Mātauranga (House of knowledge) and in our hōro (hall).

Superheroes galore!

 Super Andee has done it again! Check out the new and improved display. I know what one of her super powers is, creating amazing visual displays for everyone to learn from and enjoy!

Next week is BOOK WEEK! Ask your kaiako if you can visit the hall, to check out more miharo (awesome) displays celebrating ngā pukapuka (books).
