Green Week- New Zealand Birds

This terms Green Week focus is on birds. New Zealand is very lucky to have birds that are endemic (found only here) to our country. Our Whare pukapuka has a great selection of pukapuka about our native manu (birds).

Some websites to check out if you would like to learn more.

Can you name our most iconic native bird?

Nau mai, hoki mai! Your wonderful Whare pukapuka is open and waiting for you to visit.

Term 3 has begun and as always our Whare pukapuka is open every lunch time. Remember that there are different activities happening everyday. One thing that you can do everyday in the Whare pukapuka is sit down and enjoy a good pukapuka (book).

It's time to return your library books!

It is the last week of term and so it is time to return your books to the library. The library is still open for visitors as usual, there is just no issuing of books this week.

Delta says "Search high and low, then with your books to the library GO!!!"
