Talofa Lava! This years theme is ..........

There are many special things happening within our A'oga (school) this week. Go and visit our Faletusi (library) to read some amazing tusi tala (books) about the beautiful country of Samoa and the culture.

Beautiful bouquet of flowers!

On display in our Whare pukakpuka is a beautiful piece of collaborative artwork, done by students of all ages. For this piece of artwork, students came along to the library at lunchtime and had to draw a flower for a special person in their life (mum, aunty, nana, sister etc)

   

The inspiration for drawing the flowers, was Mother's Day.  Ms Landall and Ms Mitchell created a competition and they choose 4 of the best drawn flowers to receive a book to give to their special person. 

Congratulations to Sega from Ruma rua tekau ma rima for winning the main prize.

Construction Club Masters!

You may have seen the new TV show called Lego Masters well at Owairaka, we have our own version- Construction Club Masters!!!!.

Our first episode (not really) happened today at lunchtime: Location-Whare pukapuka. We had many contestants competing for today's title of Construction Club Master. Here are two of the best creations;
